scenic Painting
In Fall 2020, I took a Scenic Painting course with Scenic Artist and Scene Designer, Kiah Kayser. Through the class I learned several techniques and skills (listed on the right). We painted on a variety of surfaces including muslin, Masonite, and Luan. Attached below are some examples of my projects from the course with the final results and process shots. We experimented with light sources, marble, barn wood, fine wood, brick, field stone, and color mixing.
